something about myself and my passion for aircaft

I remember when I was 8 years old, making my first Airfix model of a Commonwealth Boomerang. The sheer pleasure of making it has stayed with me all my life and I never looked back!......I was hooked!

At the age of 11,when I eventually saved enough money to buy my first 1:24 scale Spitfire, my modelling abilities completely changed. Gone were "build straight out of the box" days. Now I had found a large enough scale to try and show how the aircraft was actually built and even more exciting, what was hidden behind all those access panels!

So as the years passed and I came more skilled and confident, I wanted to experiment with completely scratch building models.....which is now my great passion.

Occasionally I enjoy super detailing kits...so to show my work I have placed my models in two separate categories.......Total scratch built and Super detailed
